Jennifer Williamson, MScPT, LLCC
Owner/Physiotherapist

As a physiotherapist and the owner of Personal Care Physio since 1998, Jennifer Williamson's primary goal is to optimize patient care through a dynamic team approach while continuing her own education as a practitioner. Jennifer graduated in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science degree in physiotherapy and in 1999 finished a Masters degree. The Masters degree focused on gait (walking) analysis and neurological conditions (i.e. stroke, etc.).
Since completing her physiotherapy degree, Jennifer has taken extensive course work in manual physiotherapy, canial sacral therapy, visceral manipulation, lymphatic drainage, myofascial release and acupuncture (body and ear). Her clinics not only provide a teaching environment for physiotherapy sutdents, but also includes extensive patient education. Jennifer feels that her clinic's therapists, as well as herself, offer a warm healing environment conductive to promoting total health and well being.

Adams & Joyce Burgoyne
Administrative Assistant & Office Manager/Physio Assistant

Joyce Burgoyne has been employed as an office manager at
Personal Care Physio in Chester since September 1998. She graduated
from the Nova Scotia Community college in June 1998 with a certificate
in Office Administrative Assistant. With the skills learned and her knowledge as a Physio Assistant, she
is able to help maintain the fast pace of the clinic.
Charlene Adams has been employed as an administrative assistant at Personal
Care Physio in Chester since November 2002. She graduated from
the Nova Scotia Community College in 1994 with
a certificate in accounting. The skills she received with the
course enables her to assist the office manager with the everyday
tasks as well as doing bookkeeping for both clinics.
Andrea DeMond
Office Manager

Andrea DeMond has been employed as an office manager at Personal Care Physio in Bridgewater since July of 2000. She graduated from the Nova Scotia Community College in 1999 with a certificate in Office Information Technology. Andrea has excellent communication skills and knowledge of the interactions within our multidisciplinary clinic.
Matthew Cassidy,
Lic.Ac.
Traditional Acupuncturist

Matthew Cassidy has over 23 years of experience in the Oriental
Healing Arts. He is a graduate of a three-year degree program
from The College of Traditional Chinese Acupuncture in Warwickshire,
England. Matthew has studied Qi Gong healing with Master Weizhao
Wu. Additionally, he received his Acupressure Massage Diploma
from internationally known therapist and author Stanley Burroughs.
His private practice integrates Traditional Acupuncture, Classical
5 Element Acupuncture, Acupressure Massage, Moxibustion Therapy
and Qi Gong Healing. Matthew believes that our sense of well-being
is a reflection of our attitude towards ourselves, others and
the world around us. Matthew currently practices at the Chester and Bridgewater clinics.
Sarah Dickson, PT
Physiotherapist

Sarah Dickson is a new physiotherpy grad from Dalhousie University, and will be joining Personal Care Physio at both clinics starting October 1st 2011. She has a BSc and MSc PT. Sarah is looking forward to living and working on the South Shore as she has family in the area.
Konchessa Appleby, RMT
Massage Therapist

Konchessa Appleby has recieved her Massage Therapy certification from ICI Northumberland College in 2007. Konchessa has been employed with Personal Care Physio in Chester and Bridgewater since August 2007. She has experience treating a variety of conditions, from acute and chronic pain to repetitive use injuries by using various types of modalities to help the process of recovery. Konchessa is certified in deep tissue massage, sports massage, myofascial assessment/release and neuro-proprioceptive taping.
Rebecca Libby,
PT
Physiotherapist

Rebecca Libby joined Personal Care Physio in September 2007. She is a graduate of Dalhousie School of Physiotherapy and has since studied manual therapy, acupuncture and back stabilization techniques. Rebecca is very excited to join the Personal Care Physio team at their warm and relaxing Bridgewater location.
