Osteopathy (OMT)

Personal Care Physio does not practice Osteopathic Medicine but provides Osteopathic manual therapy (OMT).

Osteopathy is manual therapy that strives to restore the proper mobility to all body tissues, allowing for the maximal expression of health and total body function.  It is a unique therapy that focuses on the cause of pain and dysfunction rather than concentrating only on the symptoms.  Osteopaths develop unique palpation skills that feel restrictions in the body.  These restrictions help to identify structural changes and rhythms in the body that may be causing dysfunction and pain.
